But Wacom have become extortionate! Their tablets have tripled in price, and the newest models don't even come with a mouse! Now, my current one is Graphire 2, which I bought from John Lewis (UK department store) for a reasonable £59.99 (including mouse), and it's 6 X 4 in size. The latest Graphires (4) are not less than £120, even the smallest ones, and the Bamboo ones are a joke- absolutely tiny, no mouse, and they ALL cost more than my current Graphire 2! You'd think tablet prices would've come DOWN in five years, not shot up.
Thankfully a driver update solved my mouse issues, but what the hell, Wacom? The Graphires are only expensive because they're blue tooth wireless, and why don't the Bamboos (Fun or otherwise) come with a mouse? It's stupid. I'm not paying £69 PLUS £40 to get a mouse for a tablet when I got both AND a bigger tablet for almost half that price five years ago.
I just have to hope that my Graphire 2 can peddle on until the prices come down...
